Drylin(R) T linear guides are maintenance free and run without additional lubrication. Consequently, they are also suitable for use in damp or dirty environments. Available with a manually operated clamp to achieve a force fit at any desired point along the travel path. The wing screw is used to clamp the slide in place of the guide. These precision ball slides have a typical coefficient of friction of 0.003 and provide straight line accuracy of 0.0005mm per mm of travel.
At load capacity a life of 250 million mm of travel can be expected. The expected life at half load capacity is 2.5 billion mm. Factory preload adjustment prevents sideplay and backlash. Lightweight aluminium carriage and base with high load capacity. Four tapped and threaded carriage holes and counterbored base holes simplify installation and component mounting. Long life, self cleaning ball bearing needs no lubrication. Positional repeatability 0.005mm. Clear anodised finish.

All slides feature Rulon bearing material for low friction. Stick-slip is virtually non existent as friction at startup and low speeds is virtually eliminated. No lubrication required. Rulon is practically inert to acids, bases and solvents making these slides a good choice for contaminated environments. Temp range minus 240 oC to +300 Deg C.

Non actuated MiniVee linear slide consists of one or more 6061-T6 anodised aluminium wheel carriages with Dual Vee integrated wheels.
