The newly developed TBN-6H bearing material exhibits high load-bearing performance. TBN-6H is manufactured with unique heat treatment technology, and shows corrosion resistance above conventional stainless steel SUS 440C. It demonstrates outstanding performance in acidic and alkaline environments of vessels and fishing tools exposed to salt water, medical equipment using antiseptic solutions, etc.
Much higher corrosion resistance exceeding that of SUS440C is achieved by the optimal addition of four chemical elements, and fine adjustment of the content of other minor elements.
Moreover, the innovative heat treatment technology gives this material a high hardness of HRC59. Optimal internal design also enables this material to hold the same or greater load resistance than SUS440C Stainless Steel.
This new material provides higher stability and longer life to machinery and equipment used in harsh environments such as salt water, rain water and alkaline solutions.
