A pressure roller bearing is a standard ball bearing with a urethane tyre bonded to the outer ring. The bonding process is performed at the factory during manufacture to retain the bearing’s rotational accuracy.
Pressure Roller bearings are used as carrying mechanisms, guide bearings and idler bearings in applications such as dispensing machinery for money, cards or tickets.
Various types of urethane are available including Ether, Ester and Adipate. Hardness from Durometer 55 to 90.
They come in a range of outside tyre diameters with 3mm, 4mm, 5mm or 6mm bores.
